Oxytocin is known as the happiness or well – being hormone. Oxytocin is a neural hormone that is secreted in the posterior pituitary gland in the brain. It is also produced in smaller quantities in the uterus, ovaries, placenta, testicles, and the heart. Oxytocin is a peptide 9 amino acid hormone.
